Maui
beach diving is diving where you will see a lot of Marine Life.
There
are many reefs available from our shore line on the West and South sides
of the Island. These reefs start within 10 feet from the beach. The
entries and exits are easy and the dives have many species of fish, eels
and an occasional ray. I will suggest diving with a guide as all the
entries do not show the best reefs. One only has 30-50 minutes of air on
each dive so why waste time looking for the best spots. A guide will
take you there immediately. Each dive from beginning to end takes about
between one to one and one half hours. The cost is much less than boat
dives due to the less expense of not using a boat. Normally, the beach
dives have one to six divers plus a guide. The equipment is included if
needed in the price of the dive. Many people schedule a two tank beach
dive. If one starts in the morning at 9:00a.m. you will be finished
diving by noon. The rest of the day can be directed toward other
activities. You don't have that boat ride back to the dock. |
